Bill Holmes – Co-owner, Client Relations

Texas Custom Decks and Outdoor Living co-owner Bill Holmes has more than 20 years’ executive management experience. As vice president of product development and design for a Fortune 500 firm, Bill built a reputation for integrity, creativity and innovation. Over the past two decades, he led the design and launch of some of the most successful housing products on the market. His work earned him numerous national leadership, achievement and industry design awards.

Bill left his corporate role in 2005 to pursue his passion for creating unique, functional landscapes and beautifully crafted outdoor living projects.

His career managing architects, engineers, design teams and operations management ideally prepared him to manage the multi-facets of a well designed, well executed outdoor living project.

Bill’s extensive design/build experience and knack for listening to and understanding his clients desires is one of the key reasons clients continue to refer Texas Custom Decks and Outdoor Living and Grand Outdoor Designs to their friends and families.

Barbara Holmes – Co-owner, Client Happiness Advocate and Office Manager

Barbara graciously agreed to “help” Bill in 2005 until he found “just the right office manager”. :-)  She loves working with clients and grew passionate about seeing the transformations of their outdoor spaces. So now, she is still “helping” Bill.  Barb owned her own business, home schools her kids and is active in the community. She KNOWS how valuable your time is and works diligently to keep you informed and the team on schedule.

Bill Ford – Project Consultant, Client Dream Advocate

Bill comes to us with many years of experience helping homeowners improve the enjoyment of their homes, both inside and out. He is an experienced professional that understands the value of client relationships.

Bill impressed our team when he said his role is not to “sell” you anything. His desire is to listen, offer creative ideas, articulate the ideas to our landscape architect, then create a unique, client driven design, providing excellent return on investment and years of enjoyment. His easygoing manner and creative, client focused approach make him a natural addition to our team.

Dan Reece – Registered Landscape Architect

Dan Reece is a Registered Landscape Architect and Irrigator with more than 20 years experience designing and installing creative, low maintenance outdoor living spaces in Central Texas. Dan's designs feature regional plant and building materials, efficient irrigation technology ensuring the finished product  is beautiful, functional and environmentally responsible.

Dan's experience includes site planning and landscape design for residential, commercial and recreational projects, participation in cross functional  teams for many of Austin's major developments and detailed design and project management for multiple projects at  Baylor University.

Dan's attentive, patient approach to design and his keen eye for detail, ensures our clients receive projects uniquely suited to their lifestyle and budget

Francisco Vacquez – Masonry Team Leader and Client Happiness Manager

Francisco leads our team of gifted masons with more than thirty years experience building custom stone projects in the finest communities in Central Texas. Francisco brings a keen understanding of how to please the most discriminating clients and builders. He is a hands-on project manager and takes immense pride in his projects and his team of masons. We are indeed fortunate to have a man of such integrity and talent as a part of our custom stone and landscaping team.
